STEP 1 OF 5
Organization identity
Add your organization’s name and logo, introduction, mission, website and contact details. UNISON Connect remains the product identity.
Open Organization Settings ↗Save your settings, then open the listener About page and check the details.
STEP 2 OF 5
Listening languages
Choose which of the three language slots you need. Update each display name and short code, and disable unused slots.
Open Language Settings ↗Save and confirm the listener page shows only the languages you offer.
STEP 3 OF 5
Audio input and channels
Connect the client’s audio interface and choose its exact device name. Match each language slot to the physical input channel carrying that interpreter.
Open Audio Devices ↗Save, reopen Audio Devices and confirm the device and channel assignments are retained.
STEP 4 OF 5
Listener connection
Connect the Mac and a phone to the same local network. Choose the Mac’s reachable network address in QR Access. Use the listener access code if enabled.
Open QR Access ↗Scan the generated QR code on the phone. Confirm the organization and language list appear.
STEP 5 OF 5
On-site sound test
Start only the language being tested. Have someone speak into that interpreter’s input while a listener uses earphones on a phone. Repeat for every enabled language.
Open Live Streams ↗Confirm the correct language, clear sound, acceptable delay, and continued playback with the phone screen off. Check reconnection after returning to the page.
Before the first service
After testing, stop the test streams. Agree who will start and stop languages during the service, and keep the administrator password private. Record any unresolved audio or network issue before relying on the system.
This pilot still needs a complete installation test on the client’s Mac. Apple signing and remote software updates are pending.
